In addition, every fall, Woodstock hill is very busy with multitudes of visitors at the Roseland Cottage Fine Arts & Crafts Festival, one of the most popular leading and juried art fairs.

The Quiet Corner Garden Club
The Quiet Corner Garden Club (QCGC) was founded in Woodstock by fifteen members in 1978. Today the club is powered by approximately 90 members from towns throughout the Quiet Corner.
QCGC is best known for its annual Plant Sale, held at the Woodstock Fairgrounds always the Saturday before Mother’s Day. Proceeds from the Plant Sale fund scholarships for area students studying horticulture-related fields. The funds are also used for civic projects such as planting and maintaining flowers, trees and gardens at varied locations such as the Children’s Garden at Roseland Park, the Woodstock’s Vets Memorial and Quasset Cemetery, memorial gardens in Putnam and at the Woodstock Middle School, at senior living facilities in Danielson and Pomfret, and at area libraries. Each December, our club members make holiday wreaths to donate to town halls, fire departments, churches and other civic buildings in our service area.
We’re not just about getting our hands in the dirt though. QCGC presents educational programs and floral workshops at its monthly meetings held at the South Woodstock Baptist Church, arranges field trips to gardens throughout New England and hosts a biannual Garden Tour.

Teresa Johnson is an award-winning wedding photographer with over 10 years of expertise, and a focus on helping couples enjoy their celebrations while documenting real moments as they happen. Her work is true-to-color, joyful, and largely candid, even when creating group photos and portraits. In 2022, Teresa began offering brand and commercial photography to small business owners seeking the same authentic, yet beautiful work to tell the stories of their businesses. She works across New England, but home is Woodstock, with her husband - Olympic medalist Butch Johnson - and their three cats.
